Amofoska NPKMg 4-12-12+2,5 due to its quantitative phosphorus to potassium ratio (P2O5:K2O=1:1), qualifies to be used for pre-sowing of spring and winter crops. Due to the sulphur contained in the fertilizer it is recommended to be used for oilseed rape, legumes and grassland. Magnesium contained in AMOFOSKA improves the quality characteristics of yield, including fodder harvested from grasslands, increasing the magnesium content in the sward necessary for animal health.
The high quality of granules i.e. the uniform size of grains, homogeneous composition of each granule and the lack of dust facilitates uniform sowing. AMOFOSKA NPK 4-12-12 is a granular compound NPK fertilizer of the following nutrient content
- 4% N total nitrogen in the ammonium form,
- 12% P2O5 phosphorus pentoxide soluble in mineral acids, at least 9% P2O5 phosphorus pentoxide soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, 6% P2O5 water-soluble phosphorus pentoxide,
- 12% K2O water-soluble potassium oxide,
- 10% CaO water-soluble calcium oxide,
- 15% SO3 sulphur trioxide in the form of water-soluble sulphates,
- 2,5% MgO magnesium oxide.
Micronutrients (Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn) derived from natural phosphate rock are a valuable addition fertilizer improving the bioavailability of the other ingredients.
Sulphur contained in the fertilizer in the easily-assimilable form is a valuable nutrient for high-protein and sulphur-loving plants. Under normal conditions this fertilizer does not contain harmful levels of heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, lead or mercury, so it is safe for the environment.
Amofoska NPKMg 4-12-12+2,5 is a typical pre-sowing fertilizer. After dispersing on the ploughed it needs to be mixed with soil. Seed sowing can be done after 5-7 days from mixing the fertilizer with the soil. This fertilizer should be dispersed on green crops in early spring. This fertilizer is suitable for every soil, irrespective of its compactness and degree of acidification.
A dosage of Amofoska NPK Mg 4-12-12+2.5 should be given to soils with low, medium and high levels of phosphorus and magnesium, while the content of potassium in the soil is medium or high. The component by which the amount of the fertilizer is determined is phosphorus. Its amount depends on the abundance of this component in soil and the needs of the cultivated crop.
