AMOFOSKA NPKMg 4-10-28+2,5+0,1B

AMOFOSKĄ NPKMg+B 4-10-28-2+0,1 - is intended for the use of pre-sowing of cultivation of plants with a high requirement with respect to potassium, magnesium and boron. Nevertheless, a component that determines its suitability for use in different crop species is boron. Most importantly winter and spring oilseed rape, sugar beet, fodder beet and red beet, potatoes, legumes, papilionaceous plants grown in pure sowing, sunflower, all mustards and flax should be fertilized with this fertilizer.

AMOFOSKA NPKMg+B 4-10-28-2+0,1 can also be used for vegetables that require a good supply of potassium, magnesium and boron, primarily all brassica vegetables, carrot, celery, spinach, cucumbers and lettuce. In horticulture one of the most important micronutrients is boron, which is why it is recommended to use this fertilizer under trees that especially require boron - apple, cherry, peach and pear trees. This fertiliser should not be used for cereals, grass seed plantations or grasses in a pure sowing grown for fodder.

AMOFOSKA NPKMg+B 4-10-28-2+0,1 is a granular compound fertilizer of the following nutrient content:

  • 4% N total nitrogen in the ammonium form,
  • 10% P2O5 phosphorus pentoxide soluble in mineral acids, at least: 5% P2O5 phosphorus pentoxide soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, at least 2.5% P2O5 water-soluble phosphorus pentoxide,
  • 28% K2O water-soluble potassium oxide,
  • 5% CaO water-soluble calcium oxide,
  • 2,5% MgO magnesium oxide,
  • 10% SO3 sulphur trioxide in the form of water-soluble sulphates,
  • 0,10% B water-soluble boron.

Micronutrients (Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn) derived from natural phosphate rock are a valuable addition fertilizer for improving the bioavailability of other ingredients. Its components - magnesium and boron in the form that is easily-assimilable for plants - support and regulate their proper development. Sulphur contained in the fertilizer in an easily-assimilable form is a valuable nutrient for sulphur-loving and high-protein plants. The high quality of the granules i.e. uniform size of seeds with a diameter of 2.0 - 5.0 mm facilitates uniform sowing. This fertilizer is especially recommended for use on soils low in potassium, magnesium and boron.

AMOFOSKA NPK 4-16-18 is a typical pre-sowing fertilizer. After sowing on the ploughed land this fertilizer needs to be mixed with soil. Seed sowing can be done after 7-10 days from dispersal of the fertilizer on the ploughed land because the ammonium form of nitrogen and boron compounds should be absorbed by the soil during sowing, which prevents damage to germ seed by these components. This fertilizer should be dispersed on green crops in early spring. It is suitable for every soil, irrespective of its compactness and degree of acidification.

The main plant nutrient contained in fertilizer AMOFOSKA NPKMg+B 3-10-28-2+0.1 is potassium, so the size of doses must be determined according to the potassium needs of the fertilized plants and by the abundance of potassium in the soil. Boron contained in the fertilizer determines the plant species to be fertilized with this micronutrient:

Fertilized plants Dose *
Sugar beet (on manure) 350 - 550
Fodder beet (on manure) 400 - 650
Red beet (on manure) 200 - 450
Early-season varieties of potatoes (on manure) 200 - 350
Late-season varieties of potatoes (on manure) 250 - 450
Winter rape 250 - 450
Spring rape 200 - 350
Legumes for seeds 200 - 400
Clover and alfalfa in pure sowing (green forage) 250 - 400
Mustard (white, black, brown) 200 - 300
Crops (winter and spring) 200 - 450
Meadows 200 - 350
Pasture 150 - 300

* The doses given in the table are indicative and should be adjusted depending on the expected yield.

It is a typical pre-sowing fertilizer; after sowing on the ploughed land it needs to be mixed with soil. The fertilizer can be used for all crops but it is primarily intended for fertilizing all winter cereals and oilseed rape. In the spring AMOFOSKA is particularly useful for fertilization of potatoes and sugar beets because of the proper phosphorus to potassium ratio for root crops, whereas nitrogen should be supplemented in the form of proper nitrogen fertilizers according to the requirements of the fertilized plant. AMOFOSKA NPK 4-16-18 is also a good fertilizer for legumes that need the nitrogen start dose contained in this fertilizer. It is also suitable for fertilization of small-seeded legumes grown in mixtures with grasses.
