Amofoska Corn NPKMg 4-10-22 +2,5+0,2 Zn can be used for all crop plants. However, it is primarily used for the fertilization of corn due to the proper potassium-phosphorus ratio and macro-and microelements it also contains. Sulphur content ensures proper use of nitrogen, while the addition of magnesium involved in the process of photosynthesis ensures the growth of green mass of good nutritional qualities for animals. Nitrogen should be supplemented in the form of appropriate nitrogen fertilizers according to the requirements of the fertilized plant.
Amofoska Corn is a good fertilizer for plants that need increased amounts of potassium such as beets, potatoes, and grassland. Moreover, due to the sulphur content it is recommended to use it for oilseed rape, mustard, legumes and brassicas.
The high quality of granules i.e. the uniform size of grains, homogeneous composition of each granule and the lack of dust facilitates uniform sowing. Amofoska Corn is a compound granular NPK fertilizer of the following nutrient content:
- 4% N total nitrogen in the ammonium form,
- 10% P2O5 phosphorus pentoxide soluble in mineral acids, at least: 5% P2O5 phosphorus pentoxide soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, at least 2.5% P2O5 water-soluble phosphorus pentoxide,
- 22% K2O water-soluble potassium oxide,
- 5% CaO water-soluble calcium oxide,
- 10% SO3 sulphur trioxide in the form of water-soluble sulphates,
- 2,5% MgO total magnesium oxide,
- 0.10% B water-soluble boron,
- 0.2% Zn water-soluble zinc.
Micronutrients (Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo) derived from natural phosphate rock are a valuable addition fertilizer improving the bioavailability of the other ingredients. Boron and zinc are involved in reproductive processes, contribute to good quality grains and the appropriate size of grains in corn cobs. The addition of these micronutrients in the fertilizer is particularly important for freshly limed soils and of a high level of fertilization.
NPK fertilizer does not contain harmful levels of heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, lead or mercury, so it is safe for the environment.
Amofoska Corn is a typical pre-sowing fertilizer which, after sowing on the ploughed land, needs to be mixed with soil. Seed sowing can be done 3-5 days after dispersal of the fertilizer. This fertilizer should be dispersed on green crops in early spring. It is suitable for all soils, irrespective of their compactness and degree of acidity; it is particularly suitable for use on soil with a low content of potassium and boron.
The main component of this fertilizer is potassium and its doses should be determined according to the need of fertilized plants regarding potassium and the content of assimilable potassium in the soil. The phosphorus-potassium ratio provides sufficient phosphorus fertilization of all plants, provided the correct dose of potassium is applied.

This fertilizer can be applied in early spring on the grassland at a dose of less than 400 kg of fertilizer per hectare. In early spring, and after another swath or grazing of pastures, an additional 60 kg N/ha should be applied.
